Before last night’s loss, the Giants were 27-8 in their last 35 games. That’s the best 35-game stretch in S.F. Giants history. It’s hard to complain because they’ve been playing so well, but Matt Duffy’s recent achilles injury means the lineup is in need of right handed hitters even more than before. Will the team continue to play well despite key injuries? Or will the Giants need to go out and acquire a righty bat? Also, is the bullpen good enough to win down the stretch and in the playoffs?
