SLUMPING LINEUP, QUESTIONABLE STRATEGIES LEADING TO LOSSES

The San Francisco Giants, whose pitching staff is devoid of Madison Bumgarner, Jeff Samardzija, Mark Melancon, and Will Smith, have pitched surprisingly well this season. Something needs to change — and fast — if the Giants have real visions of contention in 2018 and beyond.
